We pride ourselves at being at the forefront of the latest developments in conflict resolution and behaviour management of young people. As a result we have developed a number of key beliefs that we know work and make our courses successful:
- In order to use these increased powers effectively teachers and youth workers must first have a sound understanding of the roots and causes of human aggression.
- In order to influence and control the emotions and actions of their students, teachers and youth workers must first control their own emotions and reactions.
- The best way of controlling challenging pupils is by changing their emotional state to one that promotes cooperation.
- A teacher equipped with the necessary knowledge, training and support can bring about change in their classroom, and increase their own job satisfaction.
Through our workshops, seminars and CPD courses we empower secondary school teachers and youth workers to be confident and assertive in challenging situations and gain the respect they deserve in the classroom.
